Android Users:
1. Permissions
Salestrail requires certain permissions to track and log calls effectively.
After logging in, you will be prompted to grant these permissions. Please ensure you allow all of them.
If you skip granting any permission, a notification will appear on your Salestrail app (as shown in the image below) reminding you to complete the setup. You can tap on the word 'permissions' to allow the required permission.
2. Battery Settings for Salestrail: Ensuring Uninterrupted Call Tracking
Why Disable Battery Optimization for Salestrail?
Prevents the app from being closed or put to sleep.
Ensures call tracking and logging work correctly all the time
Avoids missing call details due to aggressive power-saving modes.
Tap on Battery notification on your Salestrail app. This will redirect you to the Salestrail app info section.
Navigate to Batter/Battery saver and remove battery restrictions or allow Background activity. For more detail information click here.
3. "Remove Permission if App is Unused" Setting: What It Does & How to Disable It
Android devices come with a feature called "Remove Permission if App is Unused" (also known as "Pause App Activity if Unused" or "Manage app if unused" on some devices). This setting automatically revokes permissions for apps that haven't been used for a while, which can affect background processes, notifications, and call tracking for apps like Salestrail. Please be sure to disable this setting.
4. Autostart / Auto Launch Permission
This allows Salestrail to run in the background even when the device is idle or the app is not actively being used. Note: Some devices do not have this setting. For example Samsung. For more information and specifics for your device, visit Devices.

Important Note: If you are using the Salestrail call recording feature through the Salestrail APK Recorder, you must apply the same battery settings and Auto start settings to the Salestrail APK Recorder as you did for the Salestrail app.
You should have notifications on your device showing that Salestrail and Salestrail Recorder are running in the background. If not, revisit the settings.
iPhone users
Background App Refresh
Normally, Background App Refresh is ON by default. However, if you notice some odd things with Salestrail's performance, please check if you might've accidentally turned it off.
