On the User Management page, you can see two separate permission columns:
- Permissions – App: This shows whether the required permissions are enabled for the main Salestrail app.
- Permissions – APK: This indicates whether permissions are correctly enabled for the Salestrail Recorder APK, which is used for call recording.
Each user has a status indicator (green or red) in these columns, making it easy to check whether the app and recorder are set up correctly on their device.
If any required permissions or settings are missing or incorrect, the status will appear in red. All permissions must be granted for the status to turn green.
If permissions and battery settings are incorrect, then call logging will most likely not occur or there maybe inconsistencies. You will also have the notifications below informing you of what is settings need to be allowed.

If you see one or both of the notifications mentioned above in your Salestrail app, the notification status on the dashboard will appear in red.
The required permissions are listed below. Please note that the wording may vary slightly depending on the device. If you are unsure about any of the permissions, please feel free to reach out to us for assistance.
On some devices, instead of Music and audio or Photos and videos, the permission may appear as Storage. If this is the case, please make sure that the Storage permission is granted. (required for audio call recording only).
Click on the permissions notification to enable the required permissions.
