Can phone calls be recorded on iPhone (iOS)?

Recording SIM/GSM calls on iPhone is not natively supported due to Apple's platform restrictions. iOS does not allow third-party apps to automatically access or record call audio.

Options are limited:
• Manual workarounds (e.g. speakerphone + external device) — not scalable for sales teams
• Cloud telephony/VoIP, where the call is routed through an internet-based system — enables recording but sacrifices SIM call quality and answer rates
• Switching to Android, where SIM call recording is supported

There is no fully compliant, automatic SIM call recording solution on iOS. If call recording is a business requirement, the practical options are to use Android devices or switch to cloud telephony.

Note: even if recording is technically possible on iOS, Apple's restrictions prevent sharing recordings externally, limiting their business use.
